Step 1: Gather Information

Ask the founder the following questions in a friendly, conversational way. Present them as a structured intake form. Tell them to answer as many as they can and skip anything that doesn't apply yet.


COMPANY BASICS

  1. Company name (exactly as it should appear)
  2. Do you have a logo? If so, upload it (PNG/JPG, transparent background preferred)
  3. Year founded
  4. Elevator pitch — 2-3 sentences: what you do, who it's for, why it matters
  5. Industry / sector (e.g. FinTech, HealthTech, SaaS, Climate, etc.)
  6. Current stage (Pre-Seed / Seed / Series A / other)
  7. Number of employees (including co-founders)

THE PROBLEM & SOLUTION 8. What specific problem are you solving? Who feels this pain? Any stats that show how big or urgent the problem is? 9. How does your product/service solve it? What makes your approach different? How does the customer's life improve?

MARKET 10. What's your total addressable market (TAM)? Include a dollar figure and source if you have one. 11. Go-to-market strategy — how are you acquiring customers? 12. Any market validation? (waitlist, pilots, LOIs, early revenue, user numbers)

TRACTION & MILESTONES 13. List 3-6 key milestones you've hit so far, with approximate dates (e.g. "Jan 2024: Launched MVP", "Jun 2024: $10K MRR") 14. What are your next 2-3 milestones you're aiming for in the next 6-12 months?

BUSINESS MODEL 15. How do you make money? (subscription, transaction fees, licensing, marketplace, etc.) 16. Any key metrics? (MRR, ARR, growth rate, margins, LTV, CAC — whatever you have)

COMPETITION & ADVANTAGE 17. Who are your top 2-4 competitors? (direct or indirect) 18. What's your unfair advantage? (proprietary tech, unique data, network effects, team expertise, IP, partnerships, cost advantage, etc.) 19. Any patents or IP?

TEAM 20. For each key team member (2-4 people max), provide: - Full name - Title (e.g. Co-Founder & CEO) - One-line credential (e.g. "Ex-Stripe, 8 years in payments infrastructure")

THE RAISE 21. How much are you raising? (e.g. $2.5M) 22. Use of proceeds — rough breakdown of where the money goes (e.g. "50% product, 30% growth, 20% ops") 23. Any funding already secured? (amount, notable investors)

EXIT STRATEGY 24. Who could realistically acquire you? (name 2-3 companies) 25. Are acquisitions common in your space? Any recent comparable exits?

Step 2: Generate the PDF

Once the founder provides their answers, generate the one-pager PDF using Python and ReportLab. Follow the DOCUMENT LAYOUT SPECIFICATION exactly.
