Stripe Payments Integration

Add Stripe checkout and subscriptions to my Lovable app.

Requirements: – Backend: Create an API route /api/checkout that initializes a Stripe Checkout session for a $20/month subscription. – Use Stripe's official SDK with environment variables for keys. – Frontend: Add a Subscribe button that calls the API and redirects to Stripe checkout. – Include webhook handler for successful payments that updates Supabase users table with is_pro flag. – Error handling and confirmation page included. – Output: production-ready backend (TypeScript) + frontend button component, responsive, Inter font with –6 letter spacing.

Stripe One-Time Checkout

Add a one-time product purchase with Stripe.

Requirements: – Backend: /api/checkout route to create a Checkout Session ($49 product). – Frontend: "Buy Now" button → calls API → redirects to Stripe. – Webhook /api/webhook to update Supabase orders (id, user_id, status, amount). – Confirmation page /success after payment. – Error + loading states included. – Output: end-to-end working Stripe checkout flow.

Stripe Usage-Based Billing (Metered)

Add usage-based billing with Stripe metered billing.

Requirements: – Backend: create subscription with metered plan. – Track usage events (e.g., API calls) and report to Stripe's usage API. – Supabase table usage (id, user_id, event, count, created_at). – Admin dashboard showing current usage + bill estimate. – Output: full integration with Stripe metered billing.

PayPal Checkout

Add PayPal checkout option.

Requirements: – Integrate PayPal JS SDK with client ID in env variables. – Frontend: "Pay with PayPal" button (minimal styling). – On success: create orders row in Supabase. – Redirect user to confirmation page. – Include error handling + loading spinner. – Output: working PayPal integration alongside Stripe.
